How it Works
Make Appointment
Schedule a private appointment at our downtown Lafayette office. For larger collections, or if not convenient to bring everything in, we also off a $99 in-home appointment option.
Bring IN Items
Arrive at our private office, with your box of treasures, a drivers license and any background stories you wish to share. there is free off-street parking, including handicap-accessible space near the entrance.
Evaluate Together
We'll verify authenticity, review the items, and help determine fair market value. We can also talk through what items may be best to sell, keep, or pass down to future generations.
Get Paid
We'll make you an offer on the spot for your collection. There is no obligation to accept.
Payments will be made within agreement based on the transaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept walk-ins?
Not ideal - we travel a lot to customer's homes and have 1:1 meetings that cannot be interrupted. Please book an appointment or call and we can find a time that works for you.
Can I buy coins at Legacy?
No, we do not stock inventory, so we cannot sell to the public. You can join our Legacy List and fill out a profile about what you buy, sell or collect and we'll reach out as we find items that might suit your collection.
Will I receive same day cash?
Not always. When we evaluate your collection we will clearly communicate how you will get paid.
What does Legacy buy?
We focus on gold and silver coins, but also buy gold jewelry, sterling silver items and numismatic coins. Not sure if your collection meets this criteria? No problem, call anytime, we're a happy to evaluate any collection.
How does the home visit work?
We charge $99 before the visit and are able to drive within 25 miles of the shop. This is a great option for large (heavy!) collections or people not wanting to bring items into the store.
Where do I park?
There is street parking in front of the store, 607 S Public Road, Lafayette, CO. There is also a parking lot on the south side of the building with handicapped spot.
